At GT Problast Ltd we carry out private, commercial and industrial blast cleaning services and are capable of blasting anything from car parts and gates to bridges and power stations!
One of our other services besides blast cleaning is chemical cleaning. This service very much runs alongside our DOFF and TORC cleaning systems.
The DOFF steam cleaning system is a safe and effective way to remove organic material such as mosses, as well as carbon and paint. Being able to produce a spray of up to 150ºC at the nozzle, with a fully adjustable pressure, it helps kill the substrate and extend the length of time needed for cleaning.
The TORC System is a more efficient and improved version of the JOSS system which has been available on the market for over 20 years. It now uses a new gentle vortex swirling action at the nozzle, with low air pressure, little water and very fine granulate. The system has a removable nozzle which can be changed for a larger cone for bigger jobs, or a much smaller cone for more intricate and detailed work.
Due to the ever increasing Environment and Health & Safety precautions we have to fully encapsulate our working area where possible. Blast cleaning can be a very dusty job and we are fully aware that the public and objects/buildings around our work area need to be protected. The scaffold shrink wrapping process enables us to work in a fully encapsulated area ensuring dust and falling foreign objects are contained.

“I spent hours trying to clean a cast iron table base by hand with a drill attachment and still couldn’t get the right finish so dropped it off with GT Problast. They turned it around really quick and it gave me a nice surface to paint. Highly recommended!!!”
“Great service from all at GT Problast with my first product to be blasted by them. Great communication, happy to go out of their way even in their personal time as well as a very helpful service when collecting the item. Will definitely be receiving my custom again ”
